West Haven man killed in Weber County motorcycle accident

Authorities have identified the driver of a motorcycle who was killed in a crash in Weber County on Sunday morning.

Sgt. Cameron Roden of the Utah Highway Patrol identified the victim as Kessler Kueharski, 18, of West Haven.

According to a Department of Public Safety press release, the incident occurred at 12:40 a.m.

“A motorcycle was northbound on 9350 West near 450 South and was traveling at a high rate of speed,” the release said. “The driver of the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve in the road and struck two parked cars. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene of the crash.”

An unidentified passenger was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Roden said the accident was still being investigated as of Monday afternoon.
